[Hello Luceti! You might hear some frustrated murmurs of a girl who may or may not sound familiar before the screen opens up. Behind her are trees. You might notice that first—OR! The first thing you might notice is the bright gold/white wings on her back, or maybe it’s the twig she failed to find out of her curly golden hair, or maybe it’s the fact that her cat-green eyes look absolutely furious. She pauses, before she begins to speak, posture ramrod straight, lips pursed.]

I find myself in need of assistance, if you please. While I am not familiar with this sort of fontech, I know enough. To those that have successfully taken me away from my kingdom, listen very carefully.

[her lip curls slightly, a bit of that anger in her eyes slowly spreading to her otherwise regal tone of voice ]

I demand to know where I am, immediately. To those of you who are not involved in this ..this indecency [her cheeks color. This is wrong on so many levels. ] I request all the information you can offer me. [she raises her hand to try and reach back and touch what she knows is clearly a hurt back, but her shoulder lances with pain. What did her captors do to her? Dropping it at her side, she looks back at the screen, raising her chin. ]

You will be rewarded, I can promise you that. As for those of you who had the audacity to pull off this joke, take heed: [her voice rises]

How dare you carry out such a despicable act!. Anyone who considers taking away Kimlasca-Lanvaldear’s Princess in broad daylight without her consent is considered from this point an enemy of both herself and His Majesty, King Ingobert the Sixth. You have taken me from my Castle and my people, and I cannot forgive such injustice.

Once I return to my Father’s side, and I will return, you will be found, you will be judged, and you will be punished according to your actions.

[with one more scathing glare, the Princess shuts off the feed]

[ But Natalia has always been a hopeful sort, and instead she can only suck in a breath as her line goes silent.

It's that sort of hope that causes her to respond in what seems like hours later, voice very soft: ]

..Luke? Is--Is that you?

[And, of course... Luke has no idea why the line went so silent after her answer. He knows he heard her voice, and... she did answer, so why...

He's about to ask again, after he's pulled on his jacket and resolved to find her, until he hears her again. Her voice is soft, and there's something like hope within it. He isn't sure why... and it honestly makes him feel a little nervous, a little scared, for reasons he couldn't know.

Luke goes to the journal again, hands on either side of it as he looks down at it, trying to find her.]

Y-Yeah... It's me. Hey. [He offers a smile, if she can see him.]

[ Natalia realizes that there is moisture gathering in the back of her eyes, and no matter how hard she tries, a tear slips past her eye, down her cheek, as she wipes her face with her hand. Her ungloved, dirt-in-nails hand. Honestly. What is she being reduced to.

Is this..really happening?

She is suddenly grateful for it being on voice, as she swallows and simply asks instead: ]

W..Where are you? [ I want to see you. I don't want to be disappointed. ]

[Oh, jeez. He might not be able to see her, but he can hear that hesitation, that choked tone despite how much she might hide it.

... What happened?

When Guy was around, there was a suspicion, deep down in Luke's heart. A suspicion that something happened to him back on Auldrant. Whereas he was used to Guy not worrying at all when Luke was gone for a month, suddenly he was fretting over him being gone for a day in Luceti.

Asch had said it was because he missed him. But Luke always felt...

And now he's feeling it again.

Still, that's pushed aside in favor of the fact that Natalia is asking where he is, and she sounds like she needs to see him right now. So he picks up his journal and starts to head out, she might be able to hear his footsteps.]

I'm heading outside right now... Where are you? I'll come find you.

[ her mind is racing even if her heart feels like lead. she can't help but laugh a bit weakly at the question, you can almost hear her uncertainty. ]

Some sort of clearing. I'm..sitting on a large rock. A-And I'm barefoot, and quite dirty. You'd best come immediately..[ she tries to muster up how she'd usually act ]

... Right. I'll be there as fast as I can, I promise.

[He smiles to get a more pleasant tone in there, and he at least things to grab an extra coat and some warm, thick socks, seeing how all of his and Asch's shoes wouldn't fit her. He thinks he knows where she is, if all his running around Luceti's tell him anything...

Natalia might hear his voice before seeing him. Luke was almost right about where she is: he's still a little off, though he thinks he's close. So, he's calling her name and hoping for a response.]

Natalia? Nataliaaa!

[ she affirms this with a quiet, 'alright' before she begins to look for him, wondering if she dreamed that conversation up in her disheartened state. it's only when she hears his voice that she sits straight up, eyes wide, staring over blades of grass as she stood up; beginning to move towards the source of the sound]

I'm..I'm over here! Luke!

[He hears that answer, and it makes him turn and run off in the direction her voice. He wasn't too far off, at least...

So, in just a few seconds, he'll see her through a few trees, somewhat in the distance. Even though he was slightly nervous before, now he's just... happy to see her. Luke's missed her terribly, especially since she was here for some time before leaving... And she's one of his closest people from Auldrant. Things have been disheartening lately, so seeing her, hearing her voice...

He can't help smiling. And he runs toward her again, arm raised up in a wave.]

Natalia, hey! There you are!

[ she can't help but stare, as he runs towards her, a smile spreads across her own face. so maybe it's a dream, or maybe it's not, either way, he's alive, he's smiling, he's alright. her mind is a mix of emotions as she reaches out towards him, quietly pulling him into a hug. she stubbornly blinks back tears. ]

It's so good to see you...

[... Oh. Well. A hug! It's not often he gets a hug upon arrival... save from a certain girl but let's not get into that right now. One arm's still full of the coat and the socks he brought, so he raises his other one awkwardly... then lets it lower to hold her in return. It looks like he's gotten a lot better at this hugging thing... even if he's blushing a little.]

Yeah... I'm glad to see you, too. [Now that she's close, though, he can feel how cold she is, and it makes him rub his hand up and down her back as if to try and warm her up via friction.] Jeez, you're cold...

[ just once ok. then it's nagging all up in here.
she doesn't realize she's shivering slightly until he starts rubbing her back, and she pulls back, nonchalantly wiping her eyes as if there was a speck.

she looks rather sheepish]

Ah, well, I suppose I didn't realize it..

[Oh, he's missed her nagging, too. It's all good.

His smile turns a little helpless when he sees her wiping at her eyes - maybe it was just a speck, but if the way she was acting earlier tells him anything...

He won't point it out, though. Natalia's strong; all she has to do is pick herself up again, and she seems to be working on that. Instead, he hands over the coat with the socks resting on top, both of them white in color.]

Here, I brought these for you. Maybe they'll help you warm up a little...

[ she looks a little touched at the gesture, sliding the coat over her shift and blinking at the strange sensation behind her back. she hadn't really noticed but there was a weight on her back that hadn't been there before. shrugging it off, she grasped the socks and could't help but laugh. He doesn't seem to know what's going on. And maybe that's better.]

My, socks as well? How considerate, Luke. I didn't expect this sort of 'present' from you.

[pause]
So--..do you know where we are exactly?

[He chuckles nervously at the compliment, and gives a quiet "nah". People saying nice things about him still makes him feel a little flustered...

But at her question, he straightens up slightly. Well... looks like he has to explain things to her.]

Yeah... This place is called Luceti. I know this is going to sound weird, but... this isn't Auldrant at all.

I was hoping you'd say something different...but you wouldn't lie over something this ridiculous. Are you the only one from our world here besides myself?

No, there's a lot of people here from Auldrant. [He glances off to the side with a little frown, just to think.] Tear, Asch, Jade, Anise, Nephry, Ion...

[There's a little wince on his face.] ... Master Van's here, too. And Dist, but you don't really have to worry about him. And... did you ever hear about Professor Nebilim?

A..Asch? [ she goes very still, her face draining of whatever color she had. does he not know? how could he not know? she feels her fingers stumble to clasp the device as she sucks in a breath. that must be a mistake. luke has a chance of returning but..asch is dead. he's gone. that's impossible..that's...--(i want to believe him)

she could blame it for the weather draining the color on her face, as she blinks as if in a slight stupor, before she breaks off into a weak laugh ]

Goodness..so many of us! To think even Asch would be dragged here, you know how stubborn he is..[was]

Professor Nebilim? Of course I did. Why do you ask? [ her head is spinning ]

[Luke, at least, does look confused for a few seconds. That's... strange, for all he knows, he could've said that a ghost came here. He expected her to light up and demand where Asch is right now.

Still, he pushes it aside. Maybe she comes from a time when Asch is doing stupid. As for the professor...]

She's here, too. Alive. I know it sounds really crazy...

It certainly does sound that way...[ a weak smile, before, she shifts a bit. ]

And you said..Van was here, correct?

... Yeah.

[And he was already used by him once. Luke frowns at that, before he looks at Natalia again.]

Natalia, you need to be careful with what you say on the journal. There's no Score here, so Master Van doesn't have a goal... but he's still really dangerous.

...I will. I have no intention of being further involved with that man. [ her eyes narrow scornfully, before she offers a quiet: ]
..Have you spoken with him?

[... Oh, Luke looks so uncomfortable with that. He presses his lips together and looks away again, and he can't help raising a hand to hold his opposite arm.]

... Yeah. I never wanted to... He keeps talking to me. [It feels like he's just trying to run from an inescapable shadow. A shadow of his past, a shadow of something he thought he shed the moment he came here.]

I don't know what to do anymore... [He's made so many friends... and met someone very special to him, too. And he doesn't want Van anywhere near them... But at the same time, this... could be the opportunity for Van to change for the better.]

Do nothing. He has proven that he cannot be be trusted! [ her eyebrows furrow with concern ]

He took advantage of you and Asch's trust, and caused so much pain to the people of Auldrant. He does not deserve your attentions. Please--don't let him get to you. He's..he's done enough, hasn't he?
[ her voice quiets]

[... He nods, slowly. It's... so much harder than that, though. It's hard to just... not let him get to him. The man who was his master for years...

But he looks around, then reaches to take both her hands in his own. Even they're cold...]

I know... You're right. But right now, let's get you somewhere warm. You can come back to our apartment! I'm staying with Asch, so... [Maybe she'll like it there... Maybe even stay?]

[she can see the indecision on his face, and it frustrates and disheartens her more than she'd ever admit. Luke had come up with his answers just like she had..(in the end) and to see him struggling with one of the same issues was--painful.

as he clasped her hands she felt her heart race slightly at the idea of seeing Asch in his house. her breath hitched a little, as she hid the little tremor in her fingers..(or tried) ]
