[Hello Luceti! You might hear some frustrated murmurs of a girl who may or may not sound familiar before the screen opens up. Behind her are trees. You might notice that first—OR! The first thing you might notice is the bright gold/white wings on her back, or maybe it’s the twig she failed to find out of her curly golden hair, or maybe it’s the fact that her cat-green eyes look absolutely furious. She pauses, before she begins to speak, posture ramrod straight, lips pursed.]

I find myself in need of assistance, if you please. While I am not familiar with this sort of fontech, I know enough. To those that have successfully taken me away from my kingdom, listen very carefully.

[her lip curls slightly, a bit of that anger in her eyes slowly spreading to her otherwise regal tone of voice ]

I demand to know where I am, immediately. To those of you who are not involved in this ..this indecency [her cheeks color. This is wrong on so many levels. ] I request all the information you can offer me. [she raises her hand to try and reach back and touch what she knows is clearly a hurt back, but her shoulder lances with pain. What did her captors do to her? Dropping it at her side, she looks back at the screen, raising her chin. ]

You will be rewarded, I can promise you that. As for those of you who had the audacity to pull off this joke, take heed: [her voice rises]

How dare you carry out such a despicable act!. Anyone who considers taking away Kimlasca-Lanvaldear’s Princess in broad daylight without her consent is considered from this point an enemy of both herself and His Majesty, King Ingobert the Sixth. You have taken me from my Castle and my people, and I cannot forgive such injustice.

Once I return to my Father’s side, and I will return, you will be found, you will be judged, and you will be punished according to your actions.

[with one more scathing glare, the Princess shuts off the feed]

Tear is that you? Have you been taken as well?! [ she starts to feel herself panic just a bit. if that was truly her friend then this situation was more serious than she thought it could get. ]

Yes, it's me. But before we do anything I need you to calm down and tell me where you are. Can you do that? [She'd rather find her sooner instead of later, especially with the cold weather starting around here.]

O-Of course. [ takes a slight breath ]

I'm..well, I've been wandering in the woods since I awoke. I'm in some sort of clearing--honestly, i's not familiar at all.

That's because it isn't meant to be. [She takes this chance to rub at her temples, trying to find the best means to locate her. Why did they always have to be dropped off in the forest?]

Listen, I can explain when I come to see you, but I'll need you to move to any landmarks or just stay where you are. Do you happen to hear water nearby or see any hint of a building at all?

[ sounds a bit ruffled as the Princess starts moving towards the center of the clearing, seating herself on a rock. Just so happens there is a little stream coursing through this area. BINGO. ]

I'm sitting on a large rock in the center of it. It's quite unmistakable.

It's better to explain something of this scale in person than over the journals, I believe. [There aren't very many clearings she's near the village, so that small detail is enough to help narrow it down.]

I apologize in advance if it may take me some time to reach you. I'll bring something more suitable for you to wear as well. [Because she remembers being stuck out there in a New Feather dress during a blizzard, and it was Not Pleasant.]

... It's all right, I'm glad to hear from you again. [She's not going to explain that she had been here before, having deduced that Natalia did not recall her previous stay from her reaction alone. It's only now, as she grabs an extra pair of shoes and a coat that Tear realizes how much she missed the woman she considered to be her best friend.]

I'm on my way now, just hang in there until I arrive, Natalia. Feel free to continue to communicate with myself or others who may contact you until I arrive. [There's no doubt certain people will try to.]

[ she can't help but smile a little relievedly. she had been worried about Tear prior to coming to..wherever this place was, with Luke's..absence, and knew that she was trying to keep on with her life.

but when you share family feelings one-on-one there is a level of understanding. she can't help but smile a bit more relievedly, her eyes crinkling. ]

[It doesn't take very long for Tear to locate the clearing she believed Natalia to be in, taking the extra effort to arrive as soon as she could. Her steps slow to a standstill when she locates the princess, her grip on the journal and clothing she held in her arms tightening. She was really here again, whole and well. Even though she had been conversing with her just before she arrived, there is a definite difference to listening to her voice over the journal and seeing her in person.

Now she doesn't know whether to give thanks or curse the Malnosso, for Natalia belonged in the Kimlasca she loves, not in this enclosure where she would subjugated to who knows what.] Natalia...

Tear! [ Natalia sits up, shoulders still sore, still clearly unaware she has wings as she starts moving towards her, her smile bright, the anxiety in her eyes pressing down and away if only for a little while. ]

You look well. Thank goodness!

[Seeing Natalia smile is enough to illicit one of Tear's own; she was worried about what the princess may have heard or been told during the time it took her to arrive. Nevertheless she comes closer until she is within arm's reach of Natalia, checking her for any injuries she may have received other than the usual ones given upon arrival to Luceti.]

Same to you, how long have you been here?

[ she hasn't been broken yet tear. let her find refuge in melonchans...

she tilts her head, blinking thoughtfully.]

It felt like a long time in that forest...at least a few hours.

Hours? [By all means woman, take this warm coat and pair of boots she's offering you or you'll catch cold!] We'll have to find you a proper meal then, how much have you been told by any others thus far?

Not very much. They say we're in another world! Honestly, it sounds ridiculous! Thank you. [In reference to the clothes she will be taking and slipping over the shift only to note..that there is something weird on her back. ]

Tear..is there something on my back?

Ah... [Don't say she has yet to notice her wings? Well... that's one way to start the conversation.]

Natalia, we... when we arrive here, in Luceti, we are all granted a pair of wings in order to survive in this environment, and a branded with what is called a barcode on the back of our necks. That is what is one your back now. [Tear has her own red-violet pair hidden beneath the sweater she is wearing.]

..A barcode---wings--[ she suddenly stills, staring at her like a deer in headlights. i'm sorry besto friendo but did you just say wings ]

..Wings. Of course. [ she just..kind of stands there awkwardly for a second, a shirt halfway over her head, blinking at her. ]

Are you quite certain this isn't a strange dream?

I would like to say otherwise, but I'm afraid it's not, Natalia. [It would be both a wonderful dream and terrible nightmare if that was all there was to it.]

Can I see your journal for a moment?

Ah---yes, of course. [she hands it over. don't mind her moving around trying to see the darn things. tear they're soft and fluffy..]

[She doesn't mind at all, after the initial shock she thought they were actually pretty cute! Too bad they're so darn vulnerable.]

This should help to clear things up, but I'll still answer any questions you have. I'm sure you'll have them. [With that she hands over Natalia's journal with the guide open and ready to read.]

This---this is...[ she reads it with wide eyes, a long silence afterwards. ]

Hard to believe---and these poor people. Tear, are you really alright? This sounds horrible! How can such things be going on so blatantly..it's unacceptable! [ she lifts stricken eyes ]

I'm fine. [She reaches over to take hold of Natalia's hands gently, a small attempt to keep her calm about this impossible situation, and maybe... to also calm herself down. Luceti thus far has not been too kind to her, and she is grateful for this temporary reprieve after several months of near-constant ordeals.]

I understand what you're feeling, but right now what you need to be, and what the people need, is someone with your strength. While there is little we can do about the situation at this time, we need to be able to support each other in whatever ways we can.

[ Natalia smiles a bit softly at the gesture, clasping them in her own hands with a wrinkle of her brows. ]

Oh, Tear..you're just as strong, you realize? But you're right. I still have a part to contribute, and I'll do whatever I can to support you all. You have my word.

[Her reply helps to reaffirm that she is still the Natalia she knew, strong and resilient as she remembered her. Slowly she releases her hold on her hands, lowering them gently.]

Natalia, I should ask you... What is the last thing you remember occurring back in Auldrant?
