[Hello Luceti! You might hear some frustrated murmurs of a girl who may or may not sound familiar before the screen opens up. Behind her are trees. You might notice that first—OR! The first thing you might notice is the bright gold/white wings on her back, or maybe it’s the twig she failed to find out of her curly golden hair, or maybe it’s the fact that her cat-green eyes look absolutely furious. She pauses, before she begins to speak, posture ramrod straight, lips pursed.]

I find myself in need of assistance, if you please. While I am not familiar with this sort of fontech, I know enough. To those that have successfully taken me away from my kingdom, listen very carefully.

[her lip curls slightly, a bit of that anger in her eyes slowly spreading to her otherwise regal tone of voice ]

I demand to know where I am, immediately. To those of you who are not involved in this ..this indecency [her cheeks color. This is wrong on so many levels. ] I request all the information you can offer me. [she raises her hand to try and reach back and touch what she knows is clearly a hurt back, but her shoulder lances with pain. What did her captors do to her? Dropping it at her side, she looks back at the screen, raising her chin. ]

You will be rewarded, I can promise you that. As for those of you who had the audacity to pull off this joke, take heed: [her voice rises]

How dare you carry out such a despicable act!. Anyone who considers taking away Kimlasca-Lanvaldear’s Princess in broad daylight without her consent is considered from this point an enemy of both herself and His Majesty, King Ingobert the Sixth. You have taken me from my Castle and my people, and I cannot forgive such injustice.

Once I return to my Father’s side, and I will return, you will be found, you will be judged, and you will be punished according to your actions.

[with one more scathing glare, the Princess shuts off the feed]

[Asch can only nod at her determination, choosing to say nothing; really, no words are necessary, and that's a thing of great pride, in his mind. Natalia is as strong as ever- stronger, even, than the sometimes-uncertain princess that he knows. Then again he's all too aware of what his presence often does to her, the effect both good and bad.

He's reluctant to respond to her comment- and it's obviously not a question, so lying is out. She deserves an honest answer, though; it's not like she won't find out soon enough anyway.]

...Nearly two years. By this world's calendar, closer to four.

Two years.. [ now she takes notice of the little details, her eyes large in her face, silently observing. he's grown. it's a bit sad though, to realize he's been here so long and she hasn't seen any of these subtle changes take root. there is a little sadness in that. ]

I see. ..Have you been alright? This place isn't exactly ideal, as you put it.

...I'm fine. This place is peaceful for the most part.

[Asch has a little difficulty with her expression - he knows it's difficult to believe that it's been so long, and he also knows that this is going to be hard enough with him just being alive.]

How long has it been since Eldrant?

..I'm glad to hear that. [ her guarded eyes soften with an amount of almost palpable relief..that ends quickly with his question. her shoulders seem to hunch a bit as her mouth tightens, not meeting his gaze. ]

Only a few months.

[Is that better, or worse than it being a longer period of time? She's had time to grieve, perhaps to get over it. Now he's alive again, right in front of her, and he could be gone at any time.

As always, Luceti truly is cruel. He says nothing for a while, letting the soft crunch of his boots on the forest floor fill the silence.

...Enough of that, though. Moving on.]

You'll need a place to live. Some of the others are here- you can probably stay with Tear and the others.

[He's not quite sure how to explain his current living arrangements; it's rather uncharacteristic of the Asch she knew.]

So the others are indeed here. I see. [ she follows in step, her barefeet past the point of being scratched, a little more walking isn't much of an issue. ]

I think I'll look into that. In a situation such as this, I.. want to be with all of you. I don't believe this situation is entirely all bad..after all we--[ she smiles a bit down at her feet, continuing to walk. ]

I am able to see you again. I'm thankful for that. [ as awkward as it is, it's nice, however surreal it is, to be with someone precious, however estranged, however different, for just a little while..]

[Asch glances briefly over his shoulder to check on her, then shifts directions; the village is coming into view at last, and he can see where the plaza is now. The sooner she has clothes and proper winter gear, the better.

What she says, though... hm. It wouldn't be right to tell her this isn't the first time he's seen her since his arrival; it would cheapen this, alter their reunion. That's not fair.]

...It's... good to see you, too.

[Awkward? Yes. Difficult? Eternally. But... good. Yes. It's still pretty good.

Sure beats getting just another one of the replica's friends, anyway.]

[ she stops, pausing as he turns, before it's amazing how much his simple admittance to being glad to see her makes her feel. it hurts, it makes her eyes sting, but at the same time it's comforting. it's so strange.

she can't help but smile up at him, a true smile, as she continues to follow him. ]

[He doesn't speak again, choosing to leave it at that. And within moments they're finally in the plaza! So he guides her to the clothing shop, holding the door for her and glancing around.]

Your clothes should be here, or you can take whatever you want.

[ with a nod, she steps inside, looking around at anything familiar. in this situation she'll settle for some pants, a blouse and any sort of boots to be had. it's not for luxury, so she doesn't linger in one spot too long. ]

It's alright to just take things like this?

No one's been arrested for it before. [He lifts his shoulders in a dismissive shrug, perusing the racks and shelves for Natalia's usual outfit, or anything that looks vaguely familiar.] Everything is provided for us here- clothes, food, shelter, power. In many ways it's convenient.

[Not that it balances out the cons, but at least they're not in cages living on bread and water.]

Well! That's the least they can do, I suppose. In that case I won't feel any guilt! [ with a slight puff of her cheeks, Natalia proceeds to take a few more things, like a dress, a scarf, and ooh are those headbands.

she walks towards him with a sniff. ]

I'm done.

[Well, that's much better. Asch nods slightly, then retrieves his own jacket and gloves before heading once again for the door. Although- where is he supposed to...

....]

...I'll take you to Tear. They'll have room for you.

[Still not ready to explain the replica situation, nope.]

Tear? I see..[ Rooming with Asch would have been interesting..perhaps it's better to stick to normalcy, right? She can gather information more easily from her friend with no worry of any awkwardness. ]

[Aaaand they're on their way again. He's still not sure what to say to her, so for the moment he lets silence fill the void; truth be told he's hoping that the others can explain things properly and give Natalia time to settle in, maybe even get used to certain people being alive who were dead before. Maybe that'll help.

He doubts it, but... maybe. Why is it always so damned difficult to just talk to people?]

[ she notes the silence, and her lips purse, it's strange. she's dreamed of just simply seeing him one more time and yet now, she has nothing to say. no, that's not it..she just doesn't know how to say it.

this will take time..and like most of her experiences have truly taught her, it won't be without pain..]

[Welcome to his world, Natalia. And once they approach the house he stops, glancing back over at her, then away again. It's difficult to look at her when she's still so startled by him even being alive, especially when it's a notion he'd gotten over a long time ago. He has a feeling that whatever is between the two of them now, it's going to take some serious deciphering. And that's not a job he's looking forward to, so now that they've arrived, he's going to start searching for an escape.]

..I understand. [ for now just seeing him alive is enough. if she gets more than that---she might lose the mask she has on right now. she smiles up at him, small, tentative. ]

...Mm. [Asch nods, suddenly all business, and meets her eyes for just a few seconds before he turns away, starting to head off down the path.] You can contact me with the journal if you need anything.

[ she nods, unsure of what else to say. her throat is stuck, and she doesn't realize her hand is shaking again. she turns her shoulders, closes her eyes, and takes a hitched, shaky breath, before she knocks on the door. ]
